Atlético Draw 3-3 With Ajax, Lose 2-0 To Sunderland (Seriously?)
By: Al | July 27th, 2009
Thank goodness it’s only the preseason. Resino is doing all that he can to play every single player and develop a good system in time for the upcoming season. It is likely that there won’t be any more signings, as the team has had a good amount of incoming youth team players and returnees from loans.
The Amsterdam Tournament held by Ajax ended yesterday with a loss to Sunderland, and a 3-2 victory for Benfica over the hosts Ajax. Despite the fact that we lost to a mid-table English club, experience is experience and we can only hope to do better in the preseason, as our next game is against Arsenal on August 1st.
I could only watch a part of the first game, so no analysis for now. Just enjoy the videos. (and sorry for the annoying music in the first one)

Nah. We have 5 players that can play as striker (Aguero, Forlan, Sinama-P, Maxi Rodriguez, and Luis Garcia as second striker) so not even a back up is needed, I don’t think.
