Al,awesome post. As a barca fan I can say I was very happy with the result. But when I started toread your post I expected tohear all kinds of excuses, not hat you didn’t have any. Butyour report was objective and funny. Atletico is my favorite madrid team basiclly because we share the same hate for the E.E.

I hope that you get what you deserve at the Calderon agints the mandriles.A win!

As a brcelona fan, I can say i was shocked with the result!

I think it was a mixed of everything, But basically Atletico coach had to read the fitness level of the players and play one striker and 5 mids instead of the open 4-4-2. If he just delayed the scoring of Barcelona, in the second half we – Barcelona – go crazy and push forward, then he could have made his move.
You have to respect the guy for having enough courage to play an open game, but it was a risk in a bad timing.
It wasn’t the only reason, but i will consider this post as my share of the space available here:0

Eh, its a bad loss, but you will bounce back. You just hit Barça when they were firing on all cylinders, and you wern’t firing on one.

Interesting result, considering Atletico were on such a high after impressive performances the past few weeks. Not a good omen heading into El Derbi Madrileno in two weeks time. Haha, that’s a great one. Like I said over at the Juve Offside, I’ve always been partial to Atletico among all the Liga, and I’ll be living in Madrid this spring, so hopefully you guys are still alive in the Champion’s League and the title race! Good luck to you all.
